Edge runs club nights once a week outdoors throughout the summer (May-September) and in the swimming pool during the winter (October – March). These sessions are for members and prospective members, of any level of paddling.
Additionally we run various trips, training and skills practise sessions, and special events.
Wednesday club nights
Every Wednesday (until the clocks go back) evening from our Arch in Kew Bridge.

Regulars/Recruits with knowledge of paddling on moving water:
Come along and see what Edge has to offer. Every Wednesday there are activities to progress your paddling skills and confidence and is an opportunity to meet local paddlers, train/take qualifications, make friends and plan club trips away – river running, surfing, sea kayaking etc.
Cost – members this is included in your membership – non members £10 per session
Edge will provide you with all the kayaking kit you need and a coach dedicated to creating the best progression programme for you, so you will quickly feel comfortable and confident on the water.
You just need to bring some clothes you don’t mind getting wet/muddy – shorts, t shirt/thermal top & trainers, and remember to pre-book via email@example.com.
Courses and Tailored Sessions
Fancy learning to kayak, develop your skills or give someone a unique gift? We have a number of courses this year for beginners and experienced paddlers. We can also tailor make courses on request for small groups and individual paddlers. Please contact us on firstname.lastname@example.org for further information.

Tuesday Pool nights
Every Tuesday, 9pm – 10pm, through winter (starting when the clock go back).

£5 members £8 non-members
This is the time to practice capsizing, rescues, Eskimo rolling or just splash around. It’s warm and safe. Friendly coaches at hand – just tell them what you want to learn.
Beginners welcome. No booking required.
All equipment provided. Bring swimwear, a thermal top and a towel.
