2 Star BCU Course on 20/21st Oct

This course will be following the syllabus of the BCU 2* course.

At the end of this course you will be able to send off for a certificate from the BCU (this will be an exta cost of £5 i think but is optional)

This is a full 2day course and will cost £40 per person.

Sea Kayaking Solent Trip 27th/28th Oct

This trip is for people who have paddled flat water, but want to try out the sea.  Lead coach will be Brendan Kelly, who some of you will know from recent Brighton trips 

We will be using sea kayaks and wild camping along the way, on beautiful beaches of the Solent and possibly around the Isle of Wight.  The exact route will be determined nearer the time, according to conditions

At this time of year everyone taking part will need good tents, warm sleeping bags, camping gear etc, as well as decent paddling clothing to keep warm

This trip is aimed at those who are intromediate paddlers (2* star standards and above with a little experience in a sea boat)- to find out if you are suitable for this trip please get in touch.  Trip costs will depend on numbers but will be approx £100pp including transport and kit hire

Intro to Sea Kayaking- Brighton Beach 1st Aug

Come along and give sea kayaking a go on Brighton Beach on Wed 1st August. Meet on Brighton promenade at 6.30pm

Edge has organised somefab  sea kayak coaching at the nearest Beach to London, Brighton!  This session will cover introduction tChoppy Waters of Beachy Head Intro to Sea Kayaking Brighton Beach 1st Augo paddling on moving water. We will cover rescues, launching landing, and how to handle your boat on the sea. This will be an evening session instead of the usual club night. Cost to cover coaching will be £20 per person. This will include all equipment and coaching on the day.

Get there any way you see fit but we strongly suggest going by train as its only 45mins from Clapham Junction.

Cornwall 3 Day Sea Kayak Adventure Aug 25-27th

On the August bank holiday weekend, come with Edge on a sea kayaking adventure along the stunning cornish coastline, lead by coach Jeff Allen.

We will be wild camping along the route on beautiful beaches along the way. The exact route will be determined nearer the time according to conditions but we will hopefully get the opportunity to try and spot all sorts of wildlife including seals, basking sharks! On our last club trip in the area we saw a basking shark swim under our boats icon smile Cornwall 3 Day Sea Kayak Adventure Aug 25 27th !!!!!
