FSRT on Sat 24th – Canoeing Safety & Rescue course

Saturday 24th September, 09:00 – 17:00 at Brentford Boating Arch, Kew Bridge

A very practical course which provides participants with a good basic knowledge of canoe / kayak rescue techniques. It also increases awareness of risks on the river and how to reduce them. This course is recommended to anyone involved in the sport. It’s essential for Edge members wanting to take equipment out on their own, and recommended to those with their own equipment who paddle on the Thames without coach supervision. It’s also a requirement for anyone who wants to train as a BCU coach.
