Extreme kayak challenge for an amazing cause

Bruce Jolliffe, a paddler who has helped develop canoeing in the London region, will be paddling from Largs on Mainland Scotland, to Stornoway in the Outer Hebrides this March in memory of his friend from Stornoway who passed away as a result of cancer in the Royal Marsden 4 years ago.

That’s 313 miles, by one person across some of the most severe tidal waters in the UK at the end of winter.

Bruce needs your help! His fundraising target is £10,000; 45% Goes to the Royal Marsden, the pre-eminent non surgical cancer centre in London, 45% goes to the Beatson (equivalent of the Marsden in Scotland) and 10% to the Lifeboats. He is funding the trip himself.
