ISLEWORTH POOL IS STILL CLOSED. We will be informed of an approximate timescale for the closure later this week. In the meantime we are trying to arrange a Wednesday night pool session to start next Wednesday, at the Janet Adegoke Swimming Pool in Shepherd’s Bush – the situation will be confirmed by the end of this week and we’ll let you know.
Friday night pool session for under-19s
Blades, the new canoe club based in Hammersmith, will be running a pool session at Janet Adegoke Swimming Pool, 8:30pm, under-19s only. For more information or to book your place email Paul on paulhymanh2o@hotmail.com or call on 07885860806.
Weir trip this weekend
Should be a great weekend for the bigger weirs with plenty of rain coming and an air temperature of 9 deg C. As with last week, paddlers with weir experience only. Aiming for Marsh: http://www.tvfreestylers.co.uk/weir-guides/marsh-weir/. Please email us with your preferred day (Saturday / Sunday).
White water for beginners
For those who have emailed in or have been thinking about doing so, we should be able to start running weir trips for beginners in March if the conditions are suitable, and we are looking at a trip to the Nene Whitewater Centre late Spring. In the meantime the pool would be the best place to be!
